Panadol Children’s Suppositories is suitable for children unable to take oral medicine.
Panadol Children’s Suppositories 6months-5years 125mg 20 provides temporary relief of pain and fever.
Use Panadol Children’s Suppositories in:
Children suffering from nausea and vomiting for the temporary relief of pain and fever associated with:
- cold and flu symptoms
Each suppository contains: 125mg of paracetamol.
Also contains methyl hydroxybenzoate, propyl hydroxybenzoate.
Children aged 6months – 3 years (8-14kg): Insert in the rectum 1 suppository every 4-6 hours as required (maximum 4 in 24 hours).
Children 4-5 years (16-18kg): Insert in the rectum 2 suppositories every 4-6 hours as required (maximum 8 in 24 hours).
For ease of insertion, the suppository can be moistened just before insertion. Insert the large or thick end first.
To engage the child resistant mechanism, tighten cap, then turn backwards until you hear clicking sound.
Do not use Panadol Suppositories if using other medicines containing paracetamol; for children below age of 2 years except on medical advice; for more than 48 hours at a time, except on medical advice; if the plastic seals over and under cap are broken; if the package use-by date has expired.
