Using capsules as a fibre supplement
Metamucil Capsules provide an easy way to increase your daily fibre intake. One dose of 6 Metamucil Capsules provides 2.4 grams of this soluble fibre.

Psyllium Husk, Gelatin, Polysorbate 80, Caramel Colour, Red 40 Lake, Blue 1 Lake, Yellow 6 Lake.

Using capsules as fibre therapy for regularity
Metamucil Capsules are effective in treating occasional constipation and restoring regularity.

DirectionsTake this product with at least 250ml (a full glass) of liquid. Taking this product without enough liquid may cause choking. Swallow one capsule at a time. See choking warning.

Adults 12 years and older: 6-11 years: Under 6 years:
6 capsules with 250ml of liquid (swallow 1 capsule at a time) at the first sign of irregularity. Can be taken up to 3 times daily. Generally produces effect in 12 to 72 hours. Consider use of Metamucil powder. Consult a doctor regarding use of Metamucil products.

Laxatives, including bulk fibres, may affect how well other medicines work. If you are taking a prescription medicine by mouth, take this product at least 2 hours before or 2 hours after the prescribed medicine. As your body adjusts to increased fibre intake, you may experience changes in bowel habits or minor bloating.
