Frequently Asked Questions

  1. How long does it take for my order to be dispatched?

    Our orders are processed daily except Saturdays and Sundays. We normally dispatch within 24 hours of receiving your order, provided the product is in stock. If we need to order a product, then your order will be dispatched within 48 to 72 hours depending on the availability of the product. We will always communicate with you any anticipated delays and we’ll always do our best to keep you informed during every step of the ordering process.


  2. Once dispatched how long would I need to wait before receiving my order and do I need to sign for my order upon receipt?

    For national orders
    : Your Chemist Shop use Australia post’s very reliable E-parcel service. Delivery times will depend completely on Australia Post. If you live in the Sydney metro area, then you will most likely receive your order the next day after dispatch. Interstate deliveries will take about 3 days with Country and remote areas taking up to 7 days. For an exact indication of Australia post’s delivery times, please visit www.auspost.com.au
    In general, if you do not receive your order within 7 days of our dispatch notification, please check with your local post office as in the majority of cases you will find your order awaiting collection. If your order is not at your local post office, please contact us on 1300 308 143 or email us on info@yourchemistshop.com.au and we will track your parcel.
                                                                                                                                                             

    For international orders: Your Chemist Shop use Australia post’s AIRMAIL SERVICE with extra insurance available to select at the checkout. International orders can take between 7 to 21 working days for delivery depending on where you are located in the world. Your Chemist Shop can not be held responsible for any hold up of your order by Customs or your local postal services. It is your responsibility to make sure that the items ordered will be allowed through customs.

    All orders need a signature upon receipt. Please ensure that your shipping address is a place where someone will be present when the parcel arrives. A work address is ideal and rest assured that ALL our parcels are discreetly packaged to protect you privacy. In the event where no one is present at the shipping address for the delivery, the parcel will be carted to your local post office for collection.


  3. Can I get my order express posted to me?

    YES! You can request EXPRESS POST for both national and international orders. For National orders, simply chose the express post option at checkout . For International orders, you can request express post delivery in the comments section of your order and a quote will be emailed to you within 24 hours.

  4. Why are your prices so low?

    We are able to keep our prices low by keeping our overheads low and by purchasing in bulk and passing our savings to you. We ask that you consider the complete Your chemist shop offer when price comparing us with our competitors, as we offer the lowest prices PLUS Free national shipping for orders over $99 for orders up to 3kgs AND reward points with every order that you can use as cash in follow up orders. Not to mention our friendly staff who will always go the extra mile to ensure that you receive your orders as intended with no drama! And in the even of anything going wrong , rest assured that we will do our best to resolve all conflicts so that we have a happy ending.


  5. Do I need to create a profile before I can place an order?

    No. Guest checkout is available for the majority of products unless they are from the prescription or medicines category. By creating a profile, you provide Your Chemist Shop with important information that enables us to process your order seamlessly. All the information that you provide is confidential and will only be used to maximise our service to you. Creating a profie will also enable you to log into your account and check on your order as well as accumulate reward points.


  6. Why should I subscribe to your newsletter?

    Firstly, Your Chemist Shop will NEVER spam our customers or send unsolicited emails. The Your Chemist Shop newsletter is  jam packed with great new products and offers that are only available to our subscribers. By not subscribing you may be missing out on some great deals. You are also free to UNSUBSCRIBE at any time by following the unsubscribe link on the newsletter.

  7. What can I do if I order the wrong product?

    You can call us immediately on 1300 308 143 and we will amend your order if the order has not been dispatched. In the event that your order has been dispatched, we are happy for you to return the product within 7 days of receiving it. All products must be received unopened and in their original undamaged packs. Your Chemist Shop will refund you the price of the product. We can not refund postage.
    Your Chemist Shop reserves the right to refuse a refund if products are found to be damaged or tempered with.

  8. What do I do if I receive the wrong product?

    In the rare event that we send out the wrong product, please contact us immediately on 1300 308 143 or email us on info@yourchemistshop.com.au . You will be instructed to post the item back. The correct product will be mailed out to you at no extra postage cost.

  9. Can I order prescriptions from Your Chemist Shop?

    Your Chemist Shop can supply prescription medications. Simply follow these steps:
    • Place your order online or on the phone. The site will remind you that the item ordered requires a prescription to be posted.
    • Post a VALID prescription written by an Australian registered medical practitioner to: PO BOX 544, CHATSWOOD NSW 2057
    • Include your Medicare details, concession/pension card details ( if applicable) and a phone number for our pharmacist to contact you on if necessary.
    • You can include a cheque/money order for payment OR  a member of our staff will contact you for your credit card details once your prescription is received.
    • You have the option of keeping your prescriptions on file with us to make re-ordering of prescriptions quicker.
  10. If  I have a symptom can your pharmacist help me diagnose it and recommend a treatment?

    No. Although all the pharmacists at Your Chemist Shop are fully qualified, we are unable to ethically offer medical advice or diagnose online. Pharmacists at Your Chemist Shop online pharmacy do NOT replace your regular health care professionals with whom you can interact face to face and they are able to see and diagnose your symptoms accurately. We are very happy to offer information on products that  you wish to purchase and instruct you on how to use, side effect profile, interactions with other medications and recommended doses.
