Dr Reddy’s Scytera Foam contains 2% coal tar to help with the relief of psoriasis symptoms.
Dr Reddy’s Scytera is the first foam based psoriasis product in Australia.
Adults and children over 2 years of age: Shake the can before use. Apply to affected areas one to four times daily or as directed by a doctor.
The can must be inverted to dispense. Upright dispensing will cause loss of propellant.
Coal Tar 2% w/w (from Coal Tar Topical Solution USP, 10%)
Water-purified, glycerol, hyromellose, xanthan gum, disodium edetate, citric acid-anhydrous, sodium citrate, potassium sorbate, isopropyl myristate, medium chain triglycerides, stearic acid, cetostearyl alcohol, dimeticone 360, cyclomethicone, phenoxyethanol, peppermint oil, Pure Mint Fragrance, ethanol, polysorbate 80, butane (as propellant), isobutane (as propellant) and propane (as propellant).
For external use only.
Flammable: Avoid fire, flame, or smoking during and immediately following application.
Do not use for prolonged periods without consulting a doctor. Do not use this product in or around the rectum or in the genital area or groin except on the advice of a doctor.
Ask a doctor before use if you have a condition that covers a large area of the body.
Ask a doctor or pharmacist before use if you are using the product with other forms of psoriasis therapy such as ultraviolet radiation or prescription drugs.
When using this product:
- Avoid contact with eyes. If contact occurs, rinse eyes thoroughly with water
- Use caution in exposing skin to sunlight after applying this product, as it may increase your tendency to sunburn for up to 24 hours after application
- Product can stain clothing, contact lenses and hair. To minimise staining allow product to dry before contact.
Stop use and ask doctor if irritation occurs, condition worsens or does not improve after regular use of this product as directed. Not to be used under occlusion except on medical advice. Not recommended for use on children under 2 years of age. Not recommended for use during pregnancy or while breastfeeding.
Coal tar may cause irritation and acne-like eruptions of the skin and should not be applied to inflamed or broken skin. Use with caution on the face.
